Meaningfulworld.com is dedicated to fostering a meaningful, peaceful, and just world in which every individual enjoys physical, mental, social, ecological, and spiritual health. A sense of meaning, peace, and justice, although unique to each individual, is achieved through a transformative journey that integrates knowledge and experience with a sense of responsibility and reflection. This transformative process is also attained through healthy relationships that nurture open, honest, and transparent communication, insight into forgiveness, love and spiritual connection, non-violent communication, compassion, and active collaborations.
Meaningfulworld facilitates this journey through providing information on formal lectures, opportunities for informal networking, organizing humanitarian outreach programs, conducting research and publishing. Individual and collective opportunities for change, development, and transcendence are also provided through empowerment and healing workshops, clinical interventions, and collaborative referrals. These services are provided in a peaceful atmosphere of acceptance, respect, empathy, forgiveness, love and compassion.
MeaningfulWorld represents all the activities of the Association for Trauma Outreach and Prevention (ATOP), the Armenian American Society for Studies on Stress and Genocide (AASSSG), and the activities of the partnerships with collaborative centers, such as One-by-One, Association for Spirituality and Psychotherapy, World Wide Network for Gender Empowerment of Fielding Graduate University, International Division of the American Psychological Association, Psi Chi, SPSSI, NY, Karuna Center for Peace Building, Columbia University Center for Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies (HumanDHS), International Council of Psychologists (ICP), International Association for Genocide Scholars (IAGS), and the United Nations. At Meaningfulworld, the ultimate goal is to prepare a generation of conscientious individuals who are guided by love, peace, passion, and meaning.
